About the event
The Chris Monti Band combines the vibes of early Rock ’n’ Roll, Classic R&B, and Afro Caribbean Rhythms to make original music with infectious, danceable grooves. And they fill out the night with choice cover songs from North and South America, The Caribbean, West Africa and more.
Chris is joined by New England’s first-call bassist Marty Ballou on both electric and upright bass as well as vocals, and by Grant Smith (who has performed with Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma, and the Klezmer Conservatory Band) on drums.
